Start with the people who will use it
Think about how often you carry passengers and which seats they will use. Sit in the rear as well as the front. Check door access, the seating arrangement, luggage space and how easy the cabin is to use. If child seats or particular luggage are part of everyday life, confirm their fit during the viewing.
When comparing a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Ferrari Purosangue or Lamborghini Urus, avoid assuming that size means the same layout or experience. Confirm the exact seating and equipment on each example. A car’s badge will not tell you whether it fits your household.
Make comfort a real test
Seat comfort is personal. Spend time adjusting the driving position and trying the controls, rather than relying on a quick look through an open door. Check the cameras, parking assistance and other fitted equipment with the seller. If you spend time in the rear seats, assess your own view, access and comfort there too.
During an arranged test drive, pay attention to the situations you actually encounter: low-speed manoeuvres, traffic and the approach to your parking space. Ask about the wheel and tyre specification and whether it matches the car’s documentation. Impressive-looking equipment is not automatically the best choice for every owner.
Look closely at finish and modifications
Light leather, dark trim, bespoke colours and specialist conversions can all be part of the appeal. Examine the finish in natural light where possible. Look for wear on seat bolsters, handles, luggage areas and controls, and compare what you see with the advertised condition.
For a modified example, request a record of the work, the supplier and the components involved. Ask about local service support and any warranty implications for that exact vehicle. Treat claimed power outputs and conversion names as details to verify, not conclusions to draw from appearance.
Apply the same discipline to the paperwork
Ask for service invoices, confirmed mileage, original-market information and any inspection report. Arrange an independent specialist assessment where appropriate. Compare examples using verified details, rather than relying on a price difference or a regional-specification label to explain everything.
Before agreeing a purchase, confirm what is included and what remains outstanding. Request warranty terms in writing and clarify whether any advertised service coverage is separate. Our supercar buying guide sets out a broader comparison framework.
Bring your priorities to the showroom
Tell Premium Motors how you plan to use your next car and which models you want to compare. We can discuss the collection and confirm which examples are available to view. The aim is a car that suits your life, not simply the most striking image on your shortlist.
Explore the luxury car collection and plan your Dubai showroom visit. Photography shows a moment in the collection; always confirm current availability with the team.
Your questions, considered.
Should I compare luxury SUVs only by price?
No. Compare the exact specification, condition, documented history, seating layout and how each car suits your use. Asking prices alone cannot capture those differences.
Can I compare several models during one visit?
Ask the team which cars are available to view and arrange the visit around your shortlist. Do not assume that every vehicle shown in a photograph is still on display.
Your next car starts with a question.
Speak to Premium Motors about your shortlist, current availability and a private showroom viewing.
